As the Holiest of seasons approach and families are busy preparing for Christmas, we are thankful that you have taken the time to visit the 36th Annual St. Albans Festival of Lights in St. Albans City Park. As I have attended the St. Albans Festival of Lights each year since 1988, the first year that St. Albans put this event together, we are very thankful that you and your family have taken the time to attend what has developed into one of the best Christmas Light Shows in the entire State of West Virginia.
It has become a family holiday tradition to drive through our lights every year for many of you. For some, it is the start of a new tradition for your family. Either way, we truly thank you for being part of this great event!
The holidays can be very hectic for many of us, so we ask that you remember the reason for the season and cherish the moments with family and friends as we celebrate the birth of our Christ. The City of St. Albans wishes you a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a prosperous and wonderful New Year!
God Bless,
Mayor Scott James
