Walk Through Event Planned for November 24
For one night only, on November 24th, the St. Albans Festival of Lights at St. Albans City Park will kick off the 2020 season with social distancing friendly walking tours as a preview of this year’s event. From 6 pm to 8 pm, visitors can tour the event on foot catching glimpses of many revamped favorites as well as a handful of new additions to one of the largest and longest-running Christmas and holiday lights displays in the Tri-State region. The Festival of Lights opens for vehicle traffic on November 27th.
Visitors are asked to meet at St. Albans High School on Kanawha Terrace beginning at 5:30 pm where the tours will begin at 6 pm, making their way to the park and back. This event is free and open to the public.
Due to local and state health and safety regulations, social distancing is required, and masks are encouraged to make this event safe and enjoyable for everyone.

About the St. Albans Festival of Lights:
The St. Albans Festival of Lights is an annual Christmas and holiday light display throughout St. Albans City Park. For more than 30 years, the St. Albans Festival of Lights has been one of St. Albans’ most successful events, as well as one of the region’s longest-running drive-thru Christmas lights display, hosting an estimated 50,000 visitors each year.
Although this event is free and open to the public, visitors are encouraged to make either monetary or non-perishable food donations to support the lights and local non-profit food banks that feed those in need during the holiday season.
