The smell of fresh baked cookies, the sparkling lights on the Christmas tree, and the faces filled with smiles, these are the traditions of Christmas.
If our Festival of Lights has become a tradition for you and your family, welcome back. If this is your first visit, we’re overjoyed to have you, and hope we will become a holiday tradition for you and yours.
May the spirit of the most Holy Season live in your heart for now and evermore; that’s the wish from all of us who serve you as employees of the City of Saint Albans.
An Ongoing Tradition
“I think the biggest think is it’s a family atmosphere. It gives families a chance to get together during the holidays, and people like Christmas lights.”
-St. Albans Parks Director Scott Tweedy
Thousands of lights have been strung all about the Saint Albans City Park in displays, figurines and animated wonders.
The Saint Albans Festival of Lights opens up Friday, November 29th 6pm – 9pm nightly through December 23rd. Come join us for the traditions new and old. We look forward to seeing you in the glow of Christmas lights.
There is no admission fee, but monetary and food donations are always welcome.
